my right eye has been really red since yesterday.. l wear contacts, and l have a really bad vision and l dont have glasses... so is it bad if l just wear 1 contact?

i'm not sure if it is physically bad for you but it kind of throws off your depth perception and such

First thing first, try to make an apt. with your doc to get some anti-bacterial eye drops for the bad eye. Also, it is fine to wear your other contact just as long as it is sterile and it is not what caused the infection in the other eye. Lastly, one contact wo not affect your eyes together, but refrain from heavy reading, driving, etc.. as your eyes wo not operate functionally as a whole.

It could make u feel dizzy & nauseous, but l do not think it would do any physical harm. You may be more likely to spread the pink eye to the good eye because of the handling involved & inadvertently touching the affected eye during the process. You really should have a pair of glasses for just such a situation as this.

While there r several different kinds of pink eye, almost every case of pink eye is viral pink eye, & there is no particular treatment for it. It will get better on its own within a week or so. Check with ur pharmacist for over the counter eye drops for pink eye.

Hot compresses a few times a day will help. As strange as this may sound, steep a couple of tea bags (real tea, not green tea or herbal tea), & place the moist tea bags on ur eyes. The tannic acid in the tea is soothing & will make u feel better & help with the swelling. Wash ur hands very often & be careful when cleaning & treated the affected eye to not spread pink eye to ur other eye.
