My eyes are naturally an amber color. A very light brown with a lot of yellow in them to begin with. l wanted to use these contacts, called Honey, to just bring out the yellow a little more.

Has anyone ever used temporary color contacts? Are they dangerous at all? l remember when l was in High School a bunch of kids took clear contacts and put food coloring on them - and destroyed their eyes. l know that a store bought contact and a food coloring contact are in no way comparable to each other, but what are the dangers to a colored contact?
