Who should NOT have laser eye surgery? ?

no glasses
i cant think of why not to have it unless you have a sorry surgeon

If your long sighted. Its not recommended. Also if there is something wrong with your eyes ie thinning of the eye or something you may not be able to get it done.

Uj. This is an individual thing, there r not any general rules. Doctors who r reputable will not do it for many reasons. In MY situation, l have three of the big NO NO is so l am a bad candidate. l have thin corneas..bad idea. l have dry eyes..bad idea, l have night time driving glare issues..bad idea. So, there ya go. l am severely myopic & would love a safe & sane way to do a laser surgery. l am employed by a great eye doctor & l have access to some of the best surgeons in the Sate of CA. l have been advised that it is not in my best interrest by the experts. Now, if l shopped, l could find a doctor that would do it, & most likely do it cheaply. But GEEE.. l do not want to even go there becuase my risks r too great. Everyone is an idividual & it is amazingly a great idea for those who r good candidates, but there r many many things that can make u a bad candidate & only a reputable doctor can tell u what ur specific risks would be by looking at u & examining ur eyes.

My optician said l could not have it even if l wanted to because my prescription had changed within the last six months. It can only be done if yours is stable (whatever that means)
