is it safe to wear a pair of theatrical contacts over my prescription ones if the base curve is slightly bigger? i've heard that it was okay to do this so long as the theatrical ones are on top. is this true?

talk to your eye doctor about that. but my guess is that it would NOT be safe to do that.

No it is not a good idea at all and it is not safe. There is only one way of ''piggy-backing'' contacts, and is not done using 2 soft lenses. l would advise against it. You could cause corneal abrasions.

Noooo, l tried this a long time ago and ended up scratching my eyes badly. l had painful, red, and watery eyes for about 2 weeks, and was not able to wear contacts again comfortably for a few years.
