l can not put on eye makeup l used to like 2 years ago but im stragnley prone to eye infections. why? at night, l sit in bed and l itch my eyes until the bottom part thts inside of my eye, its red, it gets puffy and l put on eye drops, but they dnt help!! also, my eyes get tiered likel ask my teachers to please write in black ink if possible and l they cntjust try to avoid red because it turns blurry is this normal?

make an appt. with an ophthalmologist- NOT an optometrist. There are many possible reasons for your problems, but they truly need to be diagnosed by a good doctor. Do not put it off- your sight is too precious!

l am not sure what kind of eye drops u have tried. Using a cool compress on the eyes & putting Zaditor (OTC drop) twice daily may give some relief. It may not be just eye makeup. Could be foundation, or if while u r in bed, something in ur pillow.there r just so many things that could cause this.

If a combination of the drops & compresses have been tried & do not work, or u do try them & they do not work, see ur eye dr. You may need something stronger.

Sounds like you need to go to an eye Doctor as soon as possible.

It may be several reasons, it could be excessive computer use, it could be u force ur eyes to read even if u r far away, u read with low light, u may wear an eye liner or eye shadow that is causing an allergy therefore u need to opt for hypoallergenic. Also it may be that ur starting to show signs of myopia. Best thing to do is to go to the optometrist & get ur vision checked. Believe me l waited & waited & now l regret it so much. My vision worsened & l am 1.0 on each eye & l never experienced this before, the bad news is that it will rarely go back to normal but please make an appointment & get ur eyes checked. If u get frames prescribed l recommend to get transition glasses that blocks any solar light or reflects. Do not wear contacts if you're planning to since there is protein that builds in ur eye after u wear these for 2 weeks. Call for a visit, u do not waste anything after all it is ur vision which is really something to make a priority.

You should go see an ophthalmologist and ask if you can try Pataday. Its an eye allergy drop specifically for itchy eyes. It is used once a day only on the days your eyes itch.. It is wonderful!!!
