Four years ago l could easily pass a 20/20 eye test.Following a brief episode of extremely high blood pressure and a possible mild stroke ( l would have been in my mid thirties at the time) my eyesight rapidly deteriorated.

l returned for an eye exam to the same doctor visited in the past.Glasses were prescribed.Within two years, that prescription was no longer valid, and new, stronger lenses were prescribed.

Now, my vision is getting progressively worse.My current prescription is only six months old and getting unusable.

Is it possible that the eye-wear itself is incorrect, and putting undue strain on my eyes?It seems my vision became increasingly worse as soon as l started using glasses.

For the record, I am going to what are generally considered the best eye doctors in this region.

Have you had any other symptoms? MS and others (health related problems) often start with sight or hearing loss as well as other things. It may be your vision is getting worse because your getting older. Also are you on any meds that could contribute to vision problems? My first guess would be aging. It would not hurt to have a physical or tell your doctors. Try another eye doctor if you think it will help.

Frequent changes in your prescription is often related to a flunctuation of blood sugar. Diabetics have a terrible time with this problem.
Check your blood sugar.

Things like this happen when we get older. Glasses cannot make your vision worse.
