l have always wondered how everyone else sees and if the way l see is normal but i've never talked with anyone about it. it seems like my brain focuses mainly on the visions from my right eye as if my left eye is just there for peripheral vision. another way to describe this would be to say that when both of my eyes are open l can only see the right part of my nose. if l wanna see the left side of my nose l have to close my right eye. can you understand what i'm trying to say? try to describe the way you see.

People often have a dominant eye. Do u have depth perception? Have u ever taken depth perception tests?

It may be that ur left eye is nearsighted & needs correction, but if u have depth perception that should be no problem.

A problem can occur if u had childhood ''lazy eye'' & it was never dealt with. Rarely in those cases the brain circuits for depth perception do not get a chance to develop when they r supposed to. More often, but still rarely, after depth perception develops, an eye goes ''lazy'' -- the technical term is strabismus -- & u need a period of treatment to train that eye back into alignment.

If u have depth perception & can read & see out of ur left eye when ur right eye is covered, then most likely u just have a dominant eye like most people.
