This may seem like a stupid question to some, but l do not know much about this topic.
Is it safe to where eye glasses over contact lenses? As in, non-prescription contacts with prescription glasses.
Or does it have to be either/or?
Well, what if you just wanted to wear your glasses but wanted to wear coloured lenses?

If it is non-prescription contacts / glasses with prescription contacts / glasses, it wo not matter, as long as they're not both prescription.

either one. it defeats the purpose of wearing lenses if you are using glasses. why do you need to put on lenses with no degree. people choose lenses over glasses so that they look prettier.

You will need to be fitted for contacts whether they are prescription or not. They are a medical device and goes in the eye so you will need to get an eye exam. You can wear glasses over non prescription contacts. If your going to wear contacts you might as well get them in your prescription. that way you do not have to wear both. Hope this helps.

It is safe to wear eyeglasses over contacts. l suggest that if you wear eyeglasses just attempt to get the contacts in the same prescription so you do not have to wear both. l also know people who wear contact lenses for distance and reading eyeglasses over them for near work.
