l already have a prescription that l recently got.I'd like to get my glasses before school starts.Does anyone know where they have same day service.Hopefully not too expensive...=/ l heard Lenscrafters and Walmart does it,but is that true?What other places do it?

Yes, actually it really is not that hard at all anymore to find same-day glasses. Also, where ever you got your eye glasses will also probably have same day services. Make sure to go early though, because if you do not they will call you and tell you that you came too late and they will be ready the next day.

You will have to check with the Wal-Mart Optical nearest u to find out how long of a wait there is on glasses. l worked for Wal-Mart for 6 years & neither of the stores l worked at that had an Optical department offered same-day service - the labs were too busy. It was usually a few days to a week before u got ur glasses.

You might look into finding a local optician who has his own office & see how busy he is. You could even buy ur own frames online or at the thrift store & have him put in the lenses. l go to Target for my eye exams these days but from now on l am just going to buy my own frames & get the lenses put it by a local optician. It is cheaper that way.

walmart is cheap l got my from costco and the frame are between 50-80. l got my from theres and my frame was only 52 dollars
