Nothing l am afraid, contact lens solution is the only safe and anti-bacterial fluid you can use!
DON'T use tap water as chlorine will damage the lenses, even if it has been boiled, and do not use spit as it is very very unhygienic.
l always resort to leaving them in overnight which l do not recommend. l had to leave them in because l had no glasses either and can not get home without any contacts or glasses.

If you do not have any saline solution l would not take your lenses out because they are going to get drive sh rival up.

you might as well just throw them away and get new ones when you get home. just be very cautious on your way home, maybe bring a friend with you?
DO NOT leave them in overnight.
your eyes tend to dry out as you sleep. even though your eyes are closed.
if you fall asleep with contact lenses in, your eyes might not open when you wake up due to them drying out.

You can sleep in them for one night; it is not ideal but once wo not harm you.

Never use tap water, ever, If u have 3% hydrogen peroxide use that. But make sure u rinse them off with normal saline solution (if u have that) because the hydrogen peroxide with sting. Do u have access to distilled water? If u have nothing boil some water & let it completely cool, & use that if u do not have anything else, ur contacts might feel heavier as they will absorb more water. Then soak them in ur regular disinfecting solution for at least 24 hr before u wear them again.

No tap water & no spit. Depending on what kind of contacts u r wearing l would say one night wo not hurt, although l NEVER recommend sleeping contacts but it happens. If u do, immediately upon wake up get to ur saline solution & put contacts in. Your eyes need oxygen & sleeping in ur lenses deprives them of oxygen. There r many brands who say they r safe to sleep in but l still recommend taking them out at least once a week. Find some Clear Care deep cleaning solution (and a trial size bottle of saline to keep in purse or car for emergency situations!) & put contacts there ASAP. Few things on clear care, red tip=red eye, do not put directly in eye, do not use in any lens case besides one provided, do not clean lens in hand & then put in eye (common sense but you'd be surprised), clear care uses a hydrogen peroxide solution, little metal disk at bottom of case neutralizes an oxygen & after 6 hours turns into regular saline solution. So, special lens case & 6 hours, very important. It cleans off protein, calcium, allergens, dust, basically everything (you will see the bubbles) & after the 6 hours is safe to put contacts directly into ur eyes. And if u put contacts in water or anything, clean w/ clear care b4 using again, do not just rub w/ normal saline. And clear care can be found w/ (trial sizes too) normal saline solutions in eye section of store. So, do not recommend sleeping in but if must then take care of eye & get contacts off ASAP to allow eyes to breathe again! Oh, & if eye dry in a.m. squirt normal saline in eye then remove CL otherwise can rip cornea if eye is too dry. But that saline will remoisturize eye so CL can be moved.
