Hi this is ashish from kanpur iam persuing b.tech from computer science & engineering & l am in third yr, l also wear specks & there is no problem in doing work in the computer at all, l spend usually five to seven hours in front of it maknig projects or programming some thing but, l have no problem in doing so,always wash ur eyes 5 or 6 times a day & use good quality glasses to wear,
i would suggest that u should that never use fibre glasses always use clear glasses to do so , happy programming to u , good day!!!!!

not at all..infact it gives extra protection to your eyes from getting strained too much coz of the computer screen :)
