I've never been to an eye doctor, and l always purchase my contacts for $20 at beauty supply stores etc etc. Now I've never had this problem when l used to wear freshlook color blends, but l recently purchased Ciba visions brand and my left eye becomes irritated and red.l thought maybe if l put the contact l was wearing in my right eye upon my left eye, then maybe things would change but it didn't. It was still irritated and red while my right eye was just fine.

It could have a tear on it. Dispose them and use a fresh pair.

However you may have irritated your cornea and need to go to a doctor.
