YOU ARE PUTTING THINGS IN YOUR EYES!!!!
And those things can collect stuff (bits of eyelash, dirt, skin) behind them and mess around with the surface of the eye.

think about it. when u wear them ur eyes can not breathe which is why u take them out at night.

It sounds like your eyes are not getting enough oxygen. check to make sure your contacts are the breathing kind. Your Eye Doctor should know that.

Eyes are designed to be exposed to oxygen. Not to mention debris can build up easy after that long of use without cleaning.

because your contacts are objects that no matter how ''comfortable'' they are are not a natural part of your body. When your eyes start to hurt it is because they need a break from having a piece of foreign material on them for too long. It is great to take them out and wear your glasses and give them a resting time, and also, it makes your eyes more irritable if you sleep in your contacts. Hope this helps!

Your eyes hurt because they r not getting enough oxygen as a result of ur lenses being in so long.

l can tell u from personal experience -- it is very, very dangerous to leave ur lenses in for that long, especially when ur eyes hurt, feel dry, or r tired. Most people do not realize this until it is too late, but here is what happens when u leave ur lenses in for too long each day:

The blood vessels in ur eyes GROW & extend to areas where there is not enough oxygen being received (meaning they extend lengthwise from the outer part of ur eyes to ur inner eye). Eventually, ur blood vessels WILL GROW INTO YOUR LINE OF VISION. You will wake up one day with obstructed vision because of a blood vessel that is in ur way!!

l am not making this up. It nearly happened to me. Once it happens, it is irreversable. While it is true that today is lenses offer more oxygen intake, ur lenses could have something on them that is blocking ample oxygen & u would not know it. l am begging you..do not tempt fate & endanger ur eyes by wearing them quite so long. ( l do not really recommend lenses u can sleep in either.they're not as safe as people make them out to be.)

Depending on the contact u r wearing. If u wear ur contact for the period of time l would say to wear focus night & day. You wear that contact for 30 days, u sleep in them which is really cool.
You eye dries out, everytime u blink ur eye wets the contact so they will stay mosit thur the day. You could actually get an infection from wearing contacts that long.
l would talk to u doctor about getting u into another brand of contact Ciba Vision make Focus Night & Days.
