l went to my first eye exam in eight years and the doc took a photo of my retina and showed it to me.The retina appeared as a disk in the middle and to the left of the eye orb.He pointed out how one half of my retina was pink and healthy looking while the other half in both eyes was white and abnormal. He said that this disorder could have been inherited or pathological but that he could not know since he had nothing to compare it to.l did not think to ask him what the condition was called and wanted to ask here before calling back because he did not have the best attitude.

l do not have any symptoms of anything serious at the moment but he said to watch out for light seeming darker or reds or greens less vibrant. Can someone lead me to what the condition could be called so l can do more research?

Without examining your eye or at least the photo, there is nothing to say. E-mail the retina photo if it is available.
