l just went to a new eye doctor and was switched from 3-month toric lenses to 2-week Acuvue Oasys Hydraclear Plus. l noticed that there is no astigmatism correction on these lenses. And on trying them for the first time today, my vision is a little off (things are pretty clear but at times l feel like i'm squinting a bit or in a fog). Should l give myself more time to adjust or should l go back right away?

This was the prescription on my old lenses:
L-7.0/-2.25/015
R-6.5/-1.75/010

No, u should have an astigmatism lens. You have a really strong astigmatism, especially in ur right eye. They wo not clear up because an astigmatism lens works this way.

Instead of ur eye being perfectly round, its shaped like a football. Therefore, regular non astigmatism lens do not work. Toric lens r weighted in a certain spot based on what ur contact lens RX is. Without that weighted spot on ur contact lens, they wo not sit properly & will not correct ur vision the way it needs to be.

they have Acuvue Oasys for astigmatism now..check with ur eye doc asap..
