l do not know what my vision prescription is in relation to the numbers like20/20 or 20/40 and so on....
My OD Sphere is -825 Cyl. is -100Axis is 031 Add is + 225
My OS Sphere is -900 Cyl. is -125Axis is 180 Add is + 225
l know my vision is bad but how bad??? in relation to the 20/over something thing ?Someone told me l was legally blind ??? Would like to really know !

You are legally blind only if your vision cannot be corrected. Can you see 20/20 with this prescription? As for understanding the numbers, they are all for distance with the exception of the ''Add +225'' which is for reading.

If you can not get better than 20/200 in your good eye with glasses, then you are legally blind.
If you can see with glasses out your good eye, you are not legally blind.

You cannot calculate 20/XX from your prescription. It has to be calculated.
If you can see well with your glasses on, you are not blind. Legally blind means that you see 20/200 or worse with your glasses.
