Stop poking your eye

it sounds like it is your blind spot, where the retina is interrupted by the optic nerve, which is why you would not be able to look directly at it.

everyone has it, in both eyes, but it is weird that you would notice yours like that.

do not worry about it, but mention it to a doctor next time you happen to go to one, just in case.

How old are because you might have high blood pressure. (yes it does effect your eyes. l really dont know but l had something similar and ma doc told me it was high blood pressure.

you must visit the doc imidiately. there may be a problem. never overlook any problem regarding the eyes no matter how minute it is.

l have that. My doctor said it was a ''floater'' and nothing to worry about. But please go see an eye doctor just to make sure.

it could be a floater, l have it in my right eye. it is actually a scar on my eyeball and sometimes l can see it but not all the time.

have you been hit in the eye recently or poked yourself in the eye?

i would check w/ a doctor but l do not think it is anything to worry about

l am 65 & just went to an ophthalmologist for exactly this problem. Unlike a floater in the eye, which tends to rise, my shadow was hanging just to the left of center of vision & moved as l looked right & left, but bounced back to same relative position. After a careful exam, the doctor said l had a slight shrinkage of the eye fluid with a slight change in shape which was causing the shadow. The odd movement was due to interaction between my voluntary movements - scanning the line or looking - & the eye is involuntary moves as they were moved to keep my eyes focused & together.
He told me that while it could be distracting, l did not have a serious problem & warned me of things to look out for.
l am near sighted, which caused a small retinal blowout in the other eye several years ago, & had high blood pressure, now treated.
l would recommend seeing the right doctor for this, an ophthalmologist.

l woke one day & saw a spot/spots in my eye..it was quite annoying. l was due for an eye exam anyway, so off to the optometrist l went. After her check, she told me that she saw something too & referred me to an eye specialist. l was told that l have ''nevus'' in my eye..supposedly they r freckles which can invade ur eyes. At present they r nothing to worry about as they gave me a very thorough exam. In fact, he told me l had so many that he was calling them ''bear tracks''. l am supposed to follow up every six months as l was also informed that they can turn cancerous. l do not know how old u are, but l am only 57. They interfere occassionally, but I've gotten used to them. You may want to check with an eye doctor & do some research on them. Again, they r called NEVUS . l had never heard of them before either.
