Are there contacts for a year

Are there contacts that you can just put in and they will last for about a year? my friend told me something but idk l did not pay attention. lol. she said that all you have to do is use eye drops and stuff. if there is not contacts for up to a year, could you tell me what is the longest time there is?

l do not know about a YEAR, but there contacts that you can just pop in and sleep in them and stuff. But l do not know about a YEAR! maybe a month or so..

Ask your eye doctor! :-)

There r what r known as conventional lenses, ( non-disposable) that can last up to a year.

But that does not mean u pop them in & leave them there. They r removed every night & cleaned. Then u wear them again the next day.

They r not used much anymore because the monthly or 2 week disposables r so much better for the health of the eyes.

The longest wearing lenses r 30 days, but they still should be removed once a week for cleaning.

It is not a good idea to sleep with contacts at any time anyway, unless it is really neccessary, & the lenses were designed for it.
