l have a swollen upper eyelid. Also, it hurts when l blink, although it is not too bad. The thing is, l am not too worried about it, it is a common problem that happens to most people. However, about 9 months ago, l had surgery to remove a meibomian cyst from the same eyelid, and l wanted to know if this sudden swelling may be in any way related. l do not want the cyst to come back at all, since the surgery was painful and l still cringe whenever l remember the anesthesia injection. Is there any way l can prevent the same problem from happening again?

warm compacts and check with your doctor first thing monday morning..just to make sure this isnt a reaccurance of before.good luck to you, l have learned from the past we only get one set of eyes,take care of them...
