My mum just got a phone call from her mum saying that her dad went for an eye exam and they referred him straight to the hospital. What could be wrong? What could they have found in his eye? What is the worst they could have found? He is only like 65!

l already lost one grandad a couple of years ago and it caused a lot of heartbreak in my family. l do not want my mum or grandma to go through anything my dad and his mother had to go through. Plus, it is my mums 40th tomorrow. This is like the worst kind of time for anything to happen.

l had a friend that went to the eye doctor, & they could tell by looking at his eyes that his blood pressure was extremely high. l do not know if they see it as pressure on the eyes or what. But, he was told to go to the hospital where he was admitted overnight.My friend was not even aware that his blood pressure had gotten so high, but with medication, he is back to normal.Luckily, ur grandfather had a good eye doctor who recognized other health problems. l am sure ur Grandpa will be fine. l will put him on my prayer list!

This can happen and may be a good thing. l knew of someone who went in for a routine eye exam and the doctor saw an aneurysm. The doctors were able to treat it before it became more serious and likely saved the person is life.
